Speedo Cables?!
Discussion
Anyone know what's happened to Speedy Cables? Trying to get a replacement speedo cable for my 280i, and all the numbers I've found for them are unobtainable, and their web site doesn't work.
Has anyone got updated contact details?
Alternatively, anyone know where else I can get a replacement cable from?

Thanks Dave! Managed to get in touch with them.
Only problem being that they're not sure what the cable specification is. They need to know the length, what connectors it has etc etc.
Anyone out there ordered a previous cable and know what the details of it are? Would really help me out!Otherwise I'll have to take it to the garage and remove the old one.. send it off.. etc.. get cable.. back to garage..! Aaagghh!
Thanks guys!

Just tried to drag my 280i's speedo cable out by its roots. On earlier threads Speedy Cables came up. They have migrated to Wales. "Speedy Cables(London) ltd, Abercrave Swansea SA9 1SQ Tel 01639732213.V.helpful.
But before I send my battered remains to them does any one know if it was a standard part? StewartWarner head to Ford 4 speed (Type ?)box.

I got my 81 FHC replaced at the beginning of May about 10 days and yes they had moved to Swansea. The replacement is an excellent fit.
Awkward to take out so removed the drivers seat and steering wheel to get comfortably? to it. The gearbox end was easy Reassembly seemed easy.
I was a bit rough moving a few wires out of the way which was a mistake and had to check the connections to get main beam again. The demister hose is also in the way.
About £36 inc pp

And me..... They were very helpful with the Cosworth conversion. Clutch cable, speedo cable, combined temp and oil pressure gauge so I could fit a turbo gauge and getting the tacho converted to suit the ECU. Also found that the prices were only the same or less as sourcing the parts new.
