im thinking of saleing the 400se i will miss it but i think im iver going to loss my licence or kill mysalf in it ive already spent 4 month in hospital when i came of my bike i dont wish that again.allso being self inplyed if i lose my licence i lose my job
it just to quick on the road 0/60 in about 3.9 sec and ive had 125 out of it in 4
im looking for 11.000 pounds for it ive spent way more than im asking for it
do you think i will get this
engine alone without any thing was 8000
act inlet system aprox 1000
another 2000 on seat/carpets/wood ect
injectors 550
2 new rear tyres 250
gaz shocker 500
poly bushs 350
the list just go on and on
i no you will say just dont put your foot down so much but im not like that if ive got it ill us it

Do some track days in it and get the need for speed out of your system - for a while anyway.

Any car is going to break the speed limit so self control is the only way to go. You could fit a rev limiter - limit to 2500 rpm

I have to agree with that, since I started racing, I've become much much more of a sensible driver on the public highway, maybe I'm just getting to that age when you mature a bit!

It seems a shame to have put so much hard work into it (not to mention hard currency!) to sell up and move on. I don't know if you remember me but I spoke to you at the last Wedgefest at the end of the day. I only saw your car for a few minutes but it looked absolutely mint. It deserves to go for maximum money but unfortunately Wedge prices seem to be in free fall at the moment. I seriously hope you get what you want for it all the same.

If your looking at selling, it might be better off (if you can't get the £11k) taking the engine out and selling the engine seperatly. You can get a 4L V8 then and sell the car as it stands for a good £7k or so?
Whats the engine worth?

Steve 11k IS alot of money when there a SEAC other 400s, Chimps and Griffs galore at alot less money I bet you could buy a certain very well sorted 450 for not much more money. We all know when we set off down the Wedge route or any other car route come to think of it, that they will never return the money you spend, Sad but true.

my brother got a escort cosworth on sunday and i had to drive it back for him as he wasnot insured to drive any car on his insurance
it was a lovely drive back from wales i didnot have the erge to go fast in the car as i norm do i the wedge/or my cosworth or bike
im looking for a standard escort cos with 220 bhp
so if i sell the wedge and cosworth that will give me 15 to 16 thousand to get a escort cosworth and possible a cheap wedge for the summer

Blue thing in profile is a Dirty German 330 ci Clubsport. Its been chipped and its quicker than the 400se

Still puzzled what BadRed has done and bought and can't tell wifey about...

trying to get a 330d at the moment, supposed to be very good, just have to get rid of the a4, feel a bit like acar trader at the minute. have a look here for a clue www.mallorypark.co.uk look at this weekend
