New member and tvr owner

Hi this is my 1st post here though i'm no stranger to these kind of forums.Back in April i sold my 7mnth old civic typr r so i could buy myself a proper toy.That toy now comes in the form of a 1992 400 SE,black with full magnolia leather and wood trim.She's covered 35k only and has full history with lots of paperwork,including recent gearbox overhaul and new clutch.The car is very tidy though certainly not perfect.Original oz split rims are excellent and bridgestones as new.Chassis is very good.I paid £6500,probably a little over the odds but the car was close and known by my local specialist.
What do you guys think.
Also any general advice on running and maintaining the car would be greatly appreciated.
i now drive a 1998 saab 9000 turbo anniversary day to day which is nice and comfy(and surprisingly quick too!)

I notice you have the extra front spoiler airdam thingy under the front. Have you had any problems with speed bumps etc? I have one but have not fixed it on yet as it is hard enough to avoid grounding the chin anyway.

Jim you`ll find write ups of BBWF 2004 & 2005 on The TVR Wedgepages web site Dickymint mentioned above - BBWF 2006 was last month and even bigger and better, as well as a lot drier! Not sure when/if the write up for this will be done but there are a few details and pictures on the TVRCC site under past events - 2007 will be sometime next June/July if we`re still allowed out amongst the general public without our carers!
