I just miss a few days of coming into this room, and even looking at Pistonheads. I see on the news that amongst the snippets of Blair leaving within the year, and the RAF being described as "..utterly useless", The Hamster has crashed badly and is now recovering. I too hope he gets back to full fitness.
But then on viewing Pistonheads I find that Tallbloke and his chums have organised a fund-raising exercise to collect money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance - and that this has raise a whopping amount (I won't say how much at this moment as it is rising all the time!) already.
This is surely the action of someone who is just a throughly good, decent, wholesome human being who really does think of others. What a shame that many people are not like him.
He may now have had some media attention, but all I can humbly say is "What a fine chap!"
