280i Ignition switch?

I just purchased a 1985 280i that has an aftermarket ignition switch installed in place of the original switch. By doing research on the Web I understand that the switch is from a Triumph TR 7. Might also be from a Rover SD1 as they changed over around the time your car was built. The SD1 has a light dimmer knob on the column console. Steve www.tvrbooks.co.uk
