Later style horn push

Anyone fitted the more up to date horn push from Griff Chim etc?

I have brought one but on removing the original there are 2 wires presumably + & - but in true TVR style both Red! The later one only has 1 connector but has a metal spring clip on the side. Before I start messing about with my multi meter anyone suggest a quick fix?

Sorry mate cant help you with that one you need to ask someone with a 400

not sure, but i would think 1 wire is feed the other is return, connect one tothe terminal and the other to the spring/clip. would go into the garage and check but have only just come in from polishing the 400 ready for the nec.

My 400 has a working horn button. The 350i is a dummy. although there is a switch there.

I have never looked to see how it's wired up though. Theoretically you could use the original switch with just one wire, assuming you connected the column to the correct side of the supply.

Im sure A SEAC will have a similar horn push, Why dont you buy one and find out!

Blaine, is that for the Classic Car Show then? I take it your car will be on the stand this year then! I will be there on the Saturday.

Fitted today, I had to crimp a spade connector to the spring clip, this allowed me to keep the wiring original. Works a treat and has improved the look of the steering wheel.
