Hobby or illness?

It's well past bed time, but I've just finished loading some vehicle details onto my profile so you can all see what a sad garage hermit I am! If I ever manage to work out how to add photos I will, but I'll have to venture out of the garage first to buy a digital camera!

I'm not quite that old, but after a 10 hour shift in some of those 'other' company cars I certainly felt like it!! Most of those 'company' cars and bikes were 'tested' during a 6 year period ending a couple of years ago now.

I'll try and add a few more comments and hopefully some photos in due course.

Another car not mentioned in my ramblings is a Caterham 1700 Super Spint that I helped build back in 1989. A good friend bought a complete kit from Caterham and we built it up over a couple of months, then campaigned it hard for the next 2 years covering about 30k miles. The two of us had driven 4000 miles around the coast of Britain over 2 weeks, back in 1979, in my Mini 1275GT. As soon as the Caterham was finished we did it again in a week covering a slightly shorter route of 3000 miles and it poored with rain every day!

Sounds like a blast, ill have to it some day with the lass but as for the rain, it sounds like driving aroudn my area at the moment
