AFM to Plenum flex pipe

After searching in breakers yards I have finally found a donor car for the intake pipe that fits perfectly at both ends. Montego 2.0L EFI pipe made out of some sort of wire spiral rubber with end connectors. Just needs the reduction end cutting off about 15mm in, the bore left is correct at 68mm for the AFM. Looks like a quality part too.

Sounds like a good find. Is the flex pipe smooth on the inside? That is what I am looking for, and the silicon ones from for example ACT are like that. Will be putting a silicon one on within the short future.

Because these hoses had not been made in some years, I took an original and had a mold made and reproduced them here in the US. I am awaiting the shipment of the new hoses as we speak.
