rob ingleby has just bought a 400se

Have just come off the blower to rob ingleby who sourced my 460 i ,and so taken was he with driving mine ,that he went out and bought himself the black 92 400se which was on PH
When he came up to the house rob kept going on about how he always missed his old wedges and how they were his favourite TVR ,and that he was sorely tempted to buy one if a real nice one came up -he actaully said he'd have bought mine if i had pulled out -or i didnt get on with it he'd buy back off me
So there you go -surely that gives wedges some real cred from a TVR guru !

Rob came to look at mine and Blaines 400se for a customer a little while back but we both stood too firm on our prices...
Rob did say at the time out of all the TVRs that were out there he had a real soft spot for the wedge...

I have been to BBWF twice and plan to go again. Amazing selection of wedges. This months Sprint article only shows a few of the variety of lovely cars.

What is your 460? Pics, pics, Pics!!!
Bill is for work for replacing poly bushes ,track rod ends ,a wheel bearing and other suspension bits ,properly sorting out steering geometry ,to get handling spot on ; as well as repalcing fuel lines ,painting the chassis ,and some other bits and bobs which Rob had higlighted -reckon this is good time of year to do these things while Noel is realtively quiet and the weather is rubbish .I can always take the 7 out in the meantime which is no hardship .I'm v fussy when it comes to getting my cars just so ,so ive asked noel to go thru it with a fine tooth comb. I suppose many of the items could wait a wee while but id rather get it all sorted and then its out of the way .
Not sure how load pics on this site but i have managed to upload pics of my wedge and the 7 on the jock site for tvr's ,if you want look there .
Rob said it was one of the nicest wedges hed seen for a long time -so that was good enough for me .

Good choice- was after it again myself! Glad its gone to a good home.. Shame not back to mine!

spoke to noel yesterday and it seems the nes is better than expected wrt chassis -just a apint job nothing more -the chassis is dead sound
He also recommended fitting some new bigger calipers and drilled discs and new mintex bigger pads -which eh said would make a night and day difference to the braking -so im going ahead his recommendation ,which along with new suspension parts and geometry check whould transform the way it handles -for me the handling and brakes are the key safety points to sort out
