Does anyone know this wedge, I am thinking of having a look at it but its a long way from me so it would be interesting to see if its known to you Lads

If the engine, box and chassis are in good health, then It looks like a BARGAIN. If not, then it's not.

Same as the rest really.

Could potentially be a bargain and should move very quickly with the 4.6

It has been for sale for ages mind. Don't know why its not gone already....

i did see a post a couple of weeks ago that said that it had a rusty chassis but that could be sorted

Same old problem, its been messed with it aint a 400 !! at the price you could get a 400 engine and stick it in which would add value, a 400 should have a 4L engine. Rusty chassis .... another question ???

But if its had an uprated motor in it, that ain't a bad thing surely ?? Why would somebody want to put a 400 engine back in it when its got a more powerful, better sounding 4.6 ??

good point. The motor maketh the car for me.
I'm a great follower of originality but....It's still original in a way, it just happens to have a slightly different crank & pistons which gives it more go......which for me is a good thing.

For me, the 4.6 is a good thing

I currently have a 400se but IMHO is very underpowered (considering its a TVR).
My old 450 was an absolute stormer and I miss the power she put down on the road.

Given the choise, I would choose a 4.6 upgrade over originality anyday.

L33 Wyn Simon, I agree the more horses you can get the better ..But when they come for sale, and there has been a few over the last year or so they always make alot less than standard 4L, 400. So long as you buy it at the right price and accept you will have to sell it at the right price there is not a problem.

Wyn, your 4.5 race engine in a 350 ... now THATS another thing IMHO

ask the owner to take some chassis pictures...and so we could all see if the chassis is rusty or not....i guess not.

I reckon the photo taken out of the bedroom window of your house over looking the car looks fecking great.

An unusual angle showing just how loverly these cars are (IMHO).
