yes, its fantastic. Was owned by Barrington (Dave Adams)a real anorak who did masses of work on everything you cant see. Having a wife and two kids he would escape to the garage and pull bits apart to clean and paint.

no wonder i didnt found the car (and it didnt received a higher price):

it was advertized under "other car accesoiries".


i often wonder why uk-ebayers often advertize their items in the wrong cathegory (even 2 or 3 times!!!) and afterwards they wonder why nobody bids or they didnt get the money they expected.

Actually have less cash than I thought, so if this is mint and does go for a price that reflects that then I'll probably wait until the spring to get wedging.

Not to worry. I really miss al fresco motoring, so a FHC (particulary one without a V8) would only have been an option at a very good price.

the car was in good condition when i sold it 3 years ago the rear end had new shocks new brakes new wheel bearings and bushes .the front had new shocks new wheel bearings new steering rack track rod end new ball joints top and bottom new bulkhead bush and steering shaft joints new avon tyre unleaded heads new rad the exhaust was a modified s item.the car had sat in a garage for ten years when i bought it it had full history from new the car was proberly one of the coupes about i hope the new owner comes on here

Hi Folks,
this wedge went to Germany. It was a 1000 KM journey last saturday. She is in good overall condition and the trip was without any big problem. It wa a lot of fun for the two guys in the car.
One of the headlight pods doesn´t come down and the speedometer is not working. One door is hanging a little bit and there is some water coming in. Nothing big I would say. The car was worth the money.
By the way.... I am the new owner
I am sure that I will be here in this forum now more often. Have to get used with my new toy and there sure will be some questions in the next time.

Let us know how the car goes might consider getting a [different!] 280i.

That said all the ones I've seen recently are into the V8 price bracket and I'm not sure I could justify a 280i under those circumstances.
