The funny thing is when I spellchecked my comment Google said "Your current language is set to English but it looks like you're typing Dutch. Do you want to change language?" Cheeky buggers. My spelling's bad but not that bad!

Dont really give a toss to be honest. Will never beable to afford a new one, and the wedge spares are all owned by a british company with no sight of them moving out of the UK.
May aswell start a petition for teh french to start making renault rear light clusters again, or for TR7 switches to be made available.

I would respectfully suggest that the issue is more about the 270 people who are losing their jobs this Christmas, not where you are going to get your next set of plugs from for the 400SE.

How many people Supported the Miners thoughout the 12 months of their strike against the system in 1984? How may actually bothered in 1985 when many miners wer still striking, when the rest of the country got on with their lives?
Both that National Coal Fields in Both England, and the Welsh Valleys took the brunt of the hit, were not talking 300 odd people here, were talking 300,000 plus. I never saw the rest of the nation in support for me, my family or friends that were all directly affected and we spent 2 christmas's with little more than state benefit
How Many People Suported the workers at Longfield takeover and final closure when Rover went to China?
I was made redundant in 2001 in the IT sector. No one raised a petition for me of the other 750,000 people UK wide that lost their jobs that year,(I got up off my arse and found a new job, even though the industry was starting what turned out to be a 4 year decline)
Chorus and more reciently TATA bought out British Steel. I dont see mass support for the steel workers that are loosing their jobs due to plant closures, relocations.
Over the last 25 years, Most British Industry has gone down the pan to cheaper workers / materials elsewhere.
Fact: The people that Loose their Jobs will find alternative work.
Fact: People can hearn new skills
I know what your saying Wedgeman, and anyone out of work this close to Christmas does have my sympathy, but I dont believe anyone at Bristol Road is suprised by this. There would have been discussions with the workforce many months ago, so people would have had a heads up before now.
Sorry Chaps, im not wasteing my time by signing a petition that at the end of the day is a lost cause anyway

Noted and will respond in full when i sober up and string a sentance together. (England were lucky that S Africa didn't turn up
