Non Resisted Spark Plug Extensions ?

Am currently planning to replace the HT leads on my car and I have been adviced that I should also get a set of "Non Resisted Spark Plug Extensions".

The question is, do I need them ? As far as I am aware the HT leads on my car are the original ones, 17 years old/75,000 miles, and there are/never were any TVR spark plug extensions fitted.

Sales blurb from the supplier:

"If you are intending using our HT leads on a Rover engined TVR, we recommend using these Non Resisted Spark Plug Extensions rather than the standard TVR ones."

Any thoughts ?
