My passenger door has dropped and needs adjusting. I've read the section in the wedge bible and it looks like I'm going to need the tool to adjust the hinge also, its a bit confusingIMO as to how to do the job. Has anyone tried doing this themselves? And where can I get the tool?

I hope it's not the hinge bushes.
I have had bushes made by a friend because I couldn't buy them anywhere.
I've removed the sill (I had to do this anyway because I'm replacing the sill tube) and removed the door trim. I removed all the bolts holding the door skin to the frame. I've moved the door along the frame to enable me to remove the hinge bolt.
To cut a long and frustrating story short the old nylon bushes simply wouldn't come out of the hinge tube. I've read somewhere else on here that petroleum based greases make the nylon swell up and seize in the tube and this is what has happened here. Even when I hacksaw the bush longtitudinally down the bore in order to cut it into two peices it still wont come out but prefers to shatter rather than be driven out of the tube
I didn't have a big enough drill to drill them out so I decided to give up. I was getting to the point where I could have ended up with a car and a door and no way of getting the two back together
It's all back together now and fortunately there is still enough bush in place for the door to work properly. I still have about 1/2 inch play at the handle end of the door and I've decided to live with it
I wouldn't reccommend anyone do this job unless you really have to do it and then make sure you are prepared for the worst
