my wiper wont work but if i put a live feed into fuse box it does work this shows that the motor is ok so do you think it could be switchgear or maybe a relay? if so wich relay would it be cant find? i also have probs with my heater blower is there a fuse/relay for this everything else on the console works i have no idea what to look at in the wiring pics in the wedge bible. one more thing the wire grill under the bonnet near the wiper what is it for i think this is one of my water leaks into cabin before i close it off many thanks in advance.slowly starting to see why people thought i was silly to buy one but people that dont own one dont get to drive one!!!

It can only be the switch, fuse, relay, or interconnecting wires. If you only hooked a direct live feed to the motor then you've proved the earth as well!andy390se said:

I guess this is a fresh air vent which allows air into the cabin. You could argue you don't need this as my car does not have it fitted. BUT if you value the ability to see where you are going when there is more than one molecule of H2O in the car I would recommend you keep it and solve the leak another way.andy390se said:

It's all part of the rich tapestry that is being a Wedge hooligan.Assumed that the 'grilled' part is the inlet to the wedge'ventilation' system. I have no water coming from there, it is the rubber grommets that died. A bit of silicon could help.
Closing the grill off, could cause that you get no air to the ventilation system at all, and would make things worse.
Regarding the wiper motor: did you check the connections at the back of the relay board. These can become corroded/undone as well.
