Anyone want a very early 280 DHC

THIS IS NOT AN ADVERT just a piece of information.
I have just been to look at an early 280 DHC Chassis number DHS 306 FI dont know what year it is due to private reg plate and the bloke could not find the papers. Its been sat in a garden near Stoke on Trent since March this year when it spat a coreplug out, it looks very sorry but I would think fixable. Its got the early grey powder coated chassis and although I did not look at it all it has stood the test of time well. The bloke wants to sell it as its in the way and he has 6 other cars stood around the place. If you want any further info give me a shout but but I will only reply in office hours.
If you want it moving I have a trailer and will shift it for you for the cost of the diesel

That'll be DH 5306FI, ie the 306th wedge built, with the 2.8 V6. Probably 1981 build.

At a quick glance it has later bonnet and wheels.

ETA: and the seats have either been recovered or replaced, gearknob not standard and neither is the 400SE plank spoiler...

Well spotted Wed1e. The chassis number is listed in the bible as being built Dec 81 and the first one with a Ford fuel pump. you missed them things sticking out the doors

I didn't remark on the mirrors because I have seen different types so they MIGHT have been original and someone would have picked me up if I'd said they weren't.

Some cars even had only one mirror fitted, to the driver's door. Cheap, TVR? No....

if you look at the front you can just see the top of the spoiler witch looks like a series 2 might have had a new front
