Hi does any body know where this item is situated in a 350i series 1,does it exist?
Also does any one know which relay is which,as you know the 'Bible' doesn't cover series 1 cars,Me Fuel pump no longer getting power to it,it works if i hot wire it which has allowed me to run me engine for the first time in 16 months!

The steering module is not a relay as such, although it is built into the same type of casing to simplify installation for numpties. The standard Rover/ Lucas one is red, and it should be somewhere around the rest of the relays.
In fact it's just a cluster of 3p diodes and a 1p resistor and how the phuck they dare charge what they do for one is a mystery.
If yours is missing they're easy enough to get hold of, or you could wire up the same circuit using a handful of 1/4" spade terminals and just plug it in...
