lowering the seat!

has anybody lowered the drivers seat in a wedge?

someone said you can but i cant see how!

any words of wisdom would be good

There is not a mechanism for it.. guess you would have to modify the seat frame (welding etc..) no easy task.

Move the seat back on it's runner and take a look..

Mine were sitting on strip of wood, dead easy to lower or if you need to add more hight, you could take the phome out

I removed the subframe and the bolts holding the seat to the subframe fitted perfectly to the existing holes. If not drill new ones. Don't forget big washers and rubber packing.

Of course now I'm looking smaller in the car other drivers think 'Little tozser in a big noisy car' as opposed to big etc etc in a little noisy car

I changed my seats for Chimp types got them re-trimmed and bolted them straight to the floor without the height spacers. I'm 6ft 2 and I have to say the driving position is now lovely. The seats didn't go into the old holes so I drilled new ones and used giant washers to add a bit more rigidetity...
