400se wheel centre security keys

Well, like a few of us that use this site, I too didn't have the security key to go with my 400se wheel centres. I have looked everywhere for one but to no avail. Getting the centres off was a right pain the backside.
So I made my own key:

Firstly I took a mould of what I needed to make with blue-tac.
Next, I took a bolt - the biggest I could find that went into the security bolt head,
then I got the file out and started filing.
Constant monitoring along the way to ensure a perfect likeness of my blue-tac mould and job's a good-un.

No worries now - just need a flathead screwdriver and the newly made key.
Sure, I could have gone and replaced the security bolts for hex head bolts, but wheres the fun in that? Now nice and secure and slightly less likely to get nicked by theiving scum.

Nah - I only work a three day week to get my 40 hours in (long shifts)

About 3/4 of an hour.

Did the same thing except I used the plain shank of a bolt. I can now remove the locks with a 13mm spanner!

That reminds me - another job to sort out over the holiday - the bolt that is of course
