just been done for speeding in the SEAC , dont ask me how fast 
, Stainless has an idea , waiting for the court date 
, prob a long ban 
, anyway i might very unhappily 
be selling 450TVR shortly , thought i would post here first before i put up for sell proper in the magazines etc , car needs no intro . even has a few more nice bits 
since i bought it. If your quick of the mark i will sell now ,if not i will wait and see verdict and wait till the spring and put up for more money 
. in the meantime i will continue restoring improving bits and pieces on the car as its so difficult to keep away from , my loss i guess , but fun costs money , as they say.I don't know how you got caught but quite often you can get off if you know the law.
i.e. Have the police provided a certificate of callibration for the apparatus they used to catch you? (Any apparatus should be callibrated DAILY) You are within your rights to ask for one.
Did the copper have a certificate of competancy to use whatever it was he used to catch you with?
If you look on the "speed, plod and the law" section of pistonheads, load of advise there.
I won't preech and tell you that it serves you right as I'm sure we are all guilty from time to time when the horns come out and the right foot goes down

A car like that should be pulling at your heart strings to keep it - even if you have to keep iit in the garage for a while 'til you get your licence back.

So so so so so worry to hear the bad news matey... think everyon on here know my feelings on police catching speeders when im sure you were 'having fun' but safely in the right sort of car! *Matt-man hides to make sure he doesnt bring up any sore wounds from the plod speeding arguement on here almost a year ago!*

I have no idea what the process is for speeding related court cases, but I'm assuming you have to attend a hearing where a decision is made about a fine/ban? If you sold the SEAC before your hearing, would it not help the case being able to stand there very appologetic, stating that you have got rid of the "offending" vehicle, and are now a born again tree hugger? Perhaps the judge may award your efforts with a less harsh fine/ban if he can see you've got rid of the temptation to speed again.
You can always buy another car when everything has settled down.
