any pictures of clutch-meachnism conversions for 280?

hi,

it seems that some guys converted their tasmins from clutch-cable to hydraulic clutch.


other converted the system from pushing the outer-cable, to pulling the inner (steel) cable...i think the same system used ford on sierras.

so now to the question:

are there any pictures existing of your modifications (i would rather prefer to convert to the "inner cable pulling system"?

Hi micha,
I converted my auto to a 5 speed sometime ago and wanted to use a cable the proper way. Send me an e-mail and I will send you a copy of my write-up. This shows a sketch of the brackets I made. Quite simple really.
