Where can I gat a steering wheel?

I need a new steering wheel.
Well, actually I just want one.
My problem appears to be the 6 fixing screws that hold the wheel to the boss.
On all wedges I have seen, the screws are located at the 12, 2, 4, 6, 8 & 10 O'clock positions.
My wheel however has screws fitted at the 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 & 11 O'clock positions.
Plenty of wheels out there but if fitted to my boss would be on the p1ss
Any idea where I could get something suitable? I like Blaines steering wheel (for those of you who have seen it) but I can't find anything

I had the same problem. You can't turn the boss on my car. The indicator cancelling doesn't fit any other way. I tried to find the right boss for my steering column that would take a new wheel but after trying two different bosses I gave up. I found the simplest solution was to buy an adaptor on e-bay. It's a ring about 1cm thick with both sets of holes drilled so that it fits the boss and the new wheel fits the adaptor. You have to get the right conversion though. They have adaptors to convert both ways. It cost about a tenner if I remember correctly.

I've still got my original Personal wheel and boss with the screws at 1,3,5,7,9 & 11 which I replaced with a Momo wheel (+ new boss) with fixings at the 12 etc. positions. If you want a ref. no. for the Momo boss, let me know.

Would very much like to know the momo boss reference number please. I have just resorted to getting my 'Personal' boss machined to take a momo wheel as I couldn't find a boss with the correct spline fit.
Just for info not only are the 'Personal' six bolt holes rotated 90 degrees to the (modern) sparco / momo fit but they are slightly different spacings as well.

What steering column do you have in your wedge? The KK40X comes back as Ford Scorpio / Escort Mk4 fitment. I have the Rover SD1 column in mine.
From memory it is a Ford of some sort. The lower column is triangular. I guess that's what was kicking about in the parts bin at the time ('89).

Thanks for that, after all my searching the only boss I could find with the Rover splines was a Mountney one, but that was for a Traditional fit steering wheel which is HUGE! I ordered one in to see if it would be easier to adapt than my existing boss, but the quality was 'c r a p' and although the splines were correct there was insufficient clearance on the back for the taper on the column, so even that wouldn't fit!

Cant you just whip the boss off and turn it a few splines
