been asking people for a while now what the fuel sender is.
nobody knew.
i am a smart arse and have found out what fits it
its part no:AHU1027 mgb 1976 thay have em on ebay.

i think the unit will need drilling but its same otherwise.

Well it looks quite different - but if you find it fits the apature and it gives good readings - then let us all know

there a few different types for the mgb but the on i am talking about is the same apart from its plastic bowl is a different shape which does not matter and it will need drilling to suit the tvr fixings.
i will confirm if it all goes to plan.

to use the mgb sender unit you need to remove the internals of the one you remove from the tank.
take the mg one and remove the internal, drill and rivet on to the original one from the tank, its a bit of a bodge but it works and readings are spot on.

Sounds superb .. perhaps you could take a picture on the remains.. I thing we could figure out what to keep then..

What wedge model, year and make of instrument are we talking about here? there were several used and they all operate with different resistance ranges depending on the above.
