just a quick mention for www.hagertyinsurance.co.uk , had the wedge for a year now and just insured with hagerty - limited 3000 miles £160 plus i took out uk recovery at £35 , saved £95 on last years premium

Thats a good quote , just had my renewal , £197 inc legal protection and admin fee , don't need recovery as in AA recovery .

Yep, at no extra cost - they just want photos to confirm. ClassicLine wanted £15 for agreed value.

I'm with Classicline again this year £210 for 3k miles. Very happy with the way they handled my little "episode" with the signpost last year. Will have a quote from hagerty next year though.

Horrendous increase at Classicline, so I phoned A Flux who came out a bit cheaper all round. Then phoned Classicline back, who pretty much matched the 400SX but were massively cheaper on the 350i.

So it pays to ring around a bit.

now i DEFINATLY and ill repeat DEFINATLY say that Hagerty are the best in the world ever as now my dad has the Ultima Insured through hagerty, i can ~(according to the guys at hagerty when my dad called) drive his car on my policy FULLY COMPREHENSIVE!!!

Cant wait to drive it on the road! Ive only ever driven the ultima on track days!

Trouble for me is that they won't cover commuting. As I like to use my car every day, that's a non-starter.

Are you are saying that you are covered to drive the ultima on a fully comp basis on YOUR insurance?

Thats exactly what they have told my dad.

Whilst my dad was calling hagerty to get a quote, he asked how much it would be to add me to his policy although i cant be until im 25. Aparently, he said the oly way possible would be if i had a specialist car policy which was fully comprehensive with hagerty which i do with the wedge!
