SEATS, SAME AS S2

HI,

Iam looking for two front seats for my 89 s2, looking at some wedges they same to be the same. any idea where i can get them from (prefer second hand),mine are ivory/cream with blue trim in vinyl.

Are you sure it's just the seats you need? Maybe a body change as well?

In my wedge along with many others, we have stolen chim and griff seats as they are all the same and you may possibly find a pair that match your colour requirements.

The later Chim seats with the extra side bolster and pum up lumbar are very comfortable as well.

Err I mean bought and paid for legitimately of course

Do these later seats just bolt into existing mounts or is there a lot of messing about involved as my Wedge seats have seen better days..

Mine used all the existing holes, just had to take of what looked like some sort of square tube from the botom of the seat (maybe to give it a better rake in the Chim ?)

Well that's not very traditional, at least keep it British and use something like Cortina seats

I put in a pair of Chimp seats and got them retrimmed - there's a pair on ebay and IMO are better than wedge seats as they sit lower down.
