We just got our first substantial snowfall of the season where I live here in the States. I'll leave my white wedge in the garage so it doesn't get lost. I'll use my Land Rover instead because people around here don't know how to drive in the dry, much less in the white stuff.

Look out, empty supermarket warnings. Went down to get a bit of bread and milk as we are out, and the drive is already on to clear the shelves of every thing except pot noodles....insn't it. Muttered warnings of polar bears going around bothering things and penguins seen in the high street. And I have to work. Great.

cool! I drove my 350 FHC to Sweden last summer - the autobahn was excellent fun. Of course, I had already heavily modified the heater box so it would clear the screen.

Switzerland - that's hilly, right?

Last time it snowed it took me 5 minutes to drive the 30 yards up the lane round the back of my house, and that rises about 2 feet in elevation....

You had better have some chunky tyres on there!

And like the sheep, it ends up on a skewer and you lot eat it after a few sherbets down the boozer. Only with bigger bread, kebab anyone?
