not a Wedge topic, but you're the best 
Been looking at a cheap Astra to use while we fix up the Jeep, and sorting a few electrical niggles on it.
I seem to have no warning lights on ignition, but then once engine is running I get the batt light on and the handbrake light on. All was ok untill I plugged back in the electric mirrors that were left unplugged (now I know why
I'm thinking I must have shorted a diode or something in the alternator, although it is still showing on the voltmeter that it is charging when engine running. Any one got any other ideas as tomorrow I'm fitting the SH earings on the Wedge so might get round to looking at it again sometime
