koni adjustables

has any one any advice on what to set koni's to for the rear of an fhc ?

Got mine set quite stiff on the rear, approx 70% of the range, seems to make the car much easier to live with at motorway speeds, have tried various settings but this one has the best comprimise for handling and keeping my fillings in place! Just a bit of a pain in the neck taking the koni's off to adjust them, dont forget to keep them upright or you will have to prime them again.

thanks tony - i'll set them at 70% then
the shocks are quite new otherwise i'd throw them in the bin and fit something with a knob on the outside
stoopid bit of design having to take them off to adjust them !

I thought the adjustable bit on the konis was more to adjust out wear in the shock?


PS, don't shoot me down with too big a ack ack gun, just asking.

Hi Rich, those knois on the rear of your FHC have approx. 600 miles on them! I have a new front set in boxes, if you are interested. I found that the only way to make the FHC have proper damping on the rear was to put more weight in the rear of the car, the convertibles don;t seem to behave the same at the rear for some reason.
