My Wedge is a 1991 and that year I would have been driving a Vauxhall Cavalier (companysalesrepmobilething)

In 1989 i was driving my Tamiya radio control car and scalextrix...Still i was only 5!!!

I know my dad was driving a Vauxhaul royelle and my mum was driving a MK1 golf!

My Tasmin 200 is a 1982 & I would have been driving a Lotus TI which was an uprated version of the Chrysler Sunbeam hatchback.

At the time we had various rally teams staying at the hotel for the RAC Rally and my back axle was nicked to get a similar car through the Grizedale forest.
I got a new back axle & a drive in their car through the forest, proper brown trouser stuff.

My wedge is a 1987 and when it was new, I was driving a 1976 TVR 2500M.

In 1990 when my wedge was new, I was only 14 and like Matt-Man was playing with radio controlled cars.
At the time, My mum had a Porsche 911sc and my Dad a BMW 735se - I think I have guessed where my passion for cars comes from.

My first car was not until I was 17 in 1993 and that was an Orange 1.0 Austin Metro. My Dad and I very soon resprayed it blue and I then proceeded to give it big alloys, blacked out windows etc. Thats right - I used to be a boy-racing chav (1.0 metro aside).

Erm, in 1987 I was driving my first car - a 1967 289cid v8 Fairlane - 200bhp and drum brakes!

I think in 89 I was mid twenties so either still in the 3.0s Capri or a 2.8 Supra. Both much rear wheel drive fun, but the toyota was great for trips to spain towing a power boat at a steady 90 for 24 hours

1988 built wedge, so at that time it would have been a 1969 Volvo 144s and a 1976 TVR 3000M.

'87 390SE... I'd have either getting the bus or using a '76 Mini 1100S Clubman. A year later I was into bikes and didn't get another car for three/four years.

In October 1986 I was driving my first company car, a Fiat 128 Estate in Avocado Green , also riding a 1967 Triumph Bonneville on the road (still got it) and a Yamaha DT175MX on the green lanes .

450 SE built 1990 and registered in 1991. I was a trainee surgical appliance fitter and I still had my 1.6 L Capri with 3 litre Capri Ghia alloy wheels. God I loved that car.......almost as much as I love the 450.
