Wasn't there a guy on here who had a 5.2 litre wedge who said he was selling it ?? I never saw any adverts for it though ?? He was definately a member here, it was red and I remember seeing a picture of it taken at some sort of motor show ?? Seem to remember he had spent thousands on it ?? Looked like an absolute stunner........

I remember that one for sale a while back, went quite cheap in the end £3-4k I think. I'd have gone for it myself if the circumstances were right.

Yep, but its overpriced and not a stunner in the metal. Which is why he still has it

If it's the one I'm thinking of then it certainly was/is a stunner in the GRP(not metal). Obviously if he still has it that says somthing about either the price or his willingness to let such a monster out of his grasp or more likely both!
Please don't dis' peoples cars especally when you know they are trying to sell them.

Wasn't that one Wyn, that was one with a 4.6(?) in I think, for sale down near Bournemouth. Nearly went myself but some other people here had seen it and sent me some info on it. You're right it was up for about 4K.

It is in Essex and belongs to me..!!!!!! I'm near Epping so if you want to go for a blast let me know...i'm always up for a drive out.The car now has straight through pipes on it, very VERY "VERY" loud, sounds ......... ticks over at 98db's ... you will hear it before you see it

just to put you right i was thinking of selling the car to buy a escort cosworth
well i kept the 400se and still got my escort cosworth and SIMON69 just ask 133/GANDAFF/LEOREST orDENZIL ect or anyone how saw it at BBWF06 it is very nice not mint its got a couple of stone chips and scratchs on the body work but chassis/engine/engine bay/interior trim are all in very good condition i was offered 9500 pounds from someone on this post but said no to it as i was abale to get the escort without selling the wedge
if you don't won't to take my word about the car i will be at this years bbwf
ps how come your a new listing and only have 9 posts and try and wind eveyone up

That reminds me of the time I had the centre box (and virtually everything else) blowing on my old white 350i. I went to visit a friend in the countryside and he said he could hear me approaching from 2 miles away....

striaght through pipes eh? i like the sound of that.

You considering a Wedge as well Frazer? Much more character and VFM. I'd be wary of straight through - boll-x description is accurate. I had no back box and a minimal centre box and that was Very loud.

PS don't let it put you off any car as a box is easy to add - JP at Macc via Tim @ ACT.
