Assume you mean page 4 - T'aint mine
- Mine looks a lighter shade of blue
- My interior is cream rather than gray
- My seats have a dark blue stripe down the center
- Mine's got the easy clean big spoke rims
- And that has 'only' got a 420 under the hood
but apart from that they seem identical....

I've got loads of SEAC reference books - but coincidentally I recently stumbled across a really good review I hadn't seen. I was crashing over at Justin Forwoods place during the recent Ally Pally show; he's got a huge TVR book collection.
One of his books was Fast Lane 'Dream Cars' edited by Peter Dron.
Very very good review of a Black (possible midnight blue) 420 SEAC registration E583 BOD.
Talks about how few genuine 150+mph cars exist; they tested their SEAC at Millbrook. The only other Brits to qualify at that time were the Aston V8 Vantage, Lotus Esprit Turbo and the Jag XJ-S V12. The only foreigners came from Porsche (944, 928, 911, 959), BMW 750, Ferrari (328, Testarossa, F40), Lambo Countach and the Renault GTA.
It reckoned the only direct competition came from the 390 and 350 which are almost as quick and considerably cheaper. However, "None of them has the class of a Ferrari, or is as well made as a Jaguar XJ-S, but then the TVR is different. "It has a supremely muscular charm, is devoid of temperament, and with the roof off on a sunny day, makes all the sense in the world."
The real result was that Justin found the book in the Ally Pally auto-jumble for £1.50; so I now have a copy - bargain
