Praise Be-My Trev's on the road

At last,I have finally taken my 280 fhc for its first drive in 10 years,and what a roar it was.
After buying it for £350 last April it has been sat in a sorry state outside the house after being with several previous owners who just couldnt bring it back from the dead.
The wiring loom had been chopped in every corner as if it was going to be replaced,so after 362 repairs to the BLACK wiring the fella came to life,then it was then a case of repairing the clutch slave cylinder in the bell housing.I was going to convert it to cable or external hydraulic.But as the replacement seals cost 10 pence each for the 3 seals I went down this route.
Got it ready for an MOT and ran the engine for several hours to check its durability,all was good.
Today I drove the 20 miles to our dealer with a big cheesy grin.Mot'd it,taxed it and took the long route home,passing an e46 M3 on a hill..Sweet!

Now going to prepare it for track days,BBWF and Rockingham...Bring It On!!!!!!

Only problem - you did not mention BBWF ..

All wedges will be at BBWF.. it's the one enevt not to miss.
