Maybe it's just the camera angle/lens, but those just don't look right at all!

They aint TVR wheels, they are from a Merc so have the wrong offset

I was told that those wheels were off a 400 series wedge!!

I thought about having a punt but I dont know now - so has anyone out there got a set of wheels for my 350i, bigger than 14" that will fit?

I'd agree with that. I used to have the narrow version on my old 350i. They are 7" wide rather than 7.5" that the 400 series cars had. The rims arent quite so deep at the edges as the proper 400 Wheels.

I know that 'orible thing in your profile has four stud wheels whereas the wedge stud pattern is 5 spoke, but is there any way you can have the 400se wheels drilled or the chim hubs modified to accept the 400se wheels?
would offset / clearance be an issue?

You can fit later 5 stud hubs to a Griff / Chim so you can fit 5 pin spiders etc. but if the calling of wedge wheels is so strong then maybe the best thing to do is sell the golf cart and BUY A FECKING WEDGE !!
