starting problem

having trouble starting the rv8.
you can here the solonoid bang in but starter motor does not turn over at all.
any suggestions on what might be the problem.
it did this the other day then it started today and then later today back to the problem.

Not saying this is your cure but I have had a HR connection between the battery lead and starter terminal (measured 50ohms) at the starter motor. Click and no turn over. Disconnected the battery, cleaned up the starter motor connector and cable terminal then reconnected and spins up like a good un.

Aye, that or a bad earth return block-to-battery... or the contacts in the solenoid have seen better days...
