Rubbish Petrol....GRRR

well, today i was running low so had to pop to my local (very busy) Esso station in haslemere.

The cars been running absolutly fantastically, especially after driving to the west country this weekend, with no troubles at all.

Almost instantly after putting a tenners worth of their finest (Supreme 97 or some rubbish) the car didnt feel quite right. Sure enough two mile down the road, pulling onto the A3, she started juddering and misfiring when i went for some noise...

The only other time she did this was when i put a tenners worth (once again in a panic) at Shamensburys (only 95 ron)

I hope that once again, a tank of either tescos rocket fuel or the usual V Power will sort her again....

Fuels expensive enough without having to worry about brying rubbish stuff!!

Well, ive called and logged a complaint...wonder if anything will happen. VERY much doubt it!

I have found their 99 octane to be good, except for the occasional dodgy fill.

I keep a bottle of octane boost in the boot, if it judders like that I whack in a bit of boost, which usually sorts it out.

These days, super unleaded seems to be > 4p a litre more expensive than normal stuff (and some of it is only 97 too), so it works out cheaper to use the octane boost - I use Castrol Multivalve Plus.
