electric window adjustment

Seeing as how this is the knowledgable forum, anyone got any ideas on how to adjust electric windows on an old Astra, replaced passenger regulator and eventually got it to wind up and down corectly, but on the drivers side when winding up it goes out of the frame and then too high.
Now there is an adjuster bar, but I hsve no idea on how this would be set up and playing only seems to make it worse, so sitting in my hotel trawling for answers before I attck it again this weeken, along with sorting the bike out, getting wedge prepared for mot, WSV checked for mot, more tiling in the bathroom and making more cement for the drive

What - you have put a new Ashtray in your TVR .. good call.

The old one did not look in good condition.
