speedocable for 280i

hi. i´m searching a speedo cable for my tasmin(ford engine+4speed gearbox).

asked speedycables. they can only supply one if they will get the original as a sample. as i dont have any original one, they cant do it.

tvrparts is too expensive.

so any other ideas? a ford cable in nearly same length would be ok. the connection on speedo-side could be modified by myself.

the ford-capri speedo cable is too long.
unfortunately ford doesnt list the length of all the speedocables in their spare-parts catalogues.

shipping to germany and return to tvrparts, plus shipping to speedycables and return would nearly cost 50% of the cable or even more....thats too complicate.

Got one for mine from Tower View Racing, used but did the job nicely!
Try them, they are very helpfull.

I've got a complete(ish) 280i Coupe in a lockup somewhere not to far away. I'll have a look over the weekend see if there's one on it. Drop me a mail if you want to exchange for a few beer tokens.
