SEAC exhaust hanger (?) broken

I have a broken exhaust hanger on my SEAC. It's the last securing point before exiting out of the rear of the car.
Can anyone assist in advising where the part might have come from/where I can get one from?

It's a solid square piece of rubber approximately 4cm long with a metal plate attached at each end.
There is a thread coming out of each end. On one end, the thread comes out from the centre of the metal plate. On the other end, the thread is off centre.

I have a photo if it helps, but don't know if you're able to post photos on the forum.

There was some damage to the body work around the exhaust which I have just had repaired. I'm guessing it was caused by the tail pipe banging up and down.

By the way, I've got a TVR 420 SEAC. Woohoo!! - (it's just dawned on me)

Hi. I remember looking into this shortly after I got my SEAC. This was several years ago now, but I think they are rover sd1 v8 rubber gearbox mounts - the part listed in Rimmer Bros catalogue as CRC454A. I can't remember if one thread was offset though. If I can get myself organised this w/e I'll try and get a photo up of whats on my car.

I've just noticed you've said yours are square, the rubber mount at the back of my car is round so maybe you've got something different?

Good luck with this one Paul - you are quite right - the bodywork was damaged after the blxxdy badger I hit, forced the rear section apart from the mid section of the exhaust..not one of my favourite driving memories. I think GavinR (the guy I bought the SEAC from) had the mid-section made by ACT. They may be able to help.

Not correct - I have a couple of those as I've just replaced my gear box mounts and can say that that are much large that the usual exhaust 'bobins'..

Those bobin's are available from any exhaust centre..

This is the rear exhaust mounting on my car. Its about 4cm thick, solid rubber and 4.5cm in diameter. One thread bolts through the rear exhaust bracket as in the photo, the other thread through the boot floor. I'm sure it's much bigger than the usual exhaust bobbin.

Gotta say thinking about this - the mount reaally rather depends on the exhaust .. the mounting for the exhaust will mean a different rubber..
