Anyone know if this is straight forward job? Is there a special type of hose required and filter etc?

You need unleaded rated injection pressure hose. This used to be hard to get in the required length, and expensive, but some peaople have posted here that they have found it.

I have in the past replaced mine with cunifer brake pipe, for lorries. You have to get some with the same (or bigger) internal diameter to get the flow. But it will last forever.
