Got the wedge back from its respray yesterday 
For those who don't know the car, front end was resprayed last year but just 10 months after the respray, the paint was bubbling and cracking down the sway lines at the front. The place in question agreed to take the car back and put it right under warranty which I thought was good of them.
I picked it up yesterday and was far less than happy with the results. Masking lines, scratches in adjacent panels which were not there beforehand, a substandard paint finish with dust and other bits fallen into it, some areas flat which had not been mopped, overspray over the whole car and even on the interior trim
I should have refused to accept the car but it was 5pm and I was down towards Exeter, 150 miles from home so I had no choice.
Well, after a quick wash and polish today, the results were even worse that I had realised (car was very dirty and dusty when I picked her up and they had only mopped but not polished her so defects were not very obvious). Anyway, after 8 hours working on her today, most of the paint defects are sorted but I just can't understand why it came back so bad
The place that did the paint work made such a great job the first time but as this was a free-bee to correct their mistake, I think it was rushed - and it shows 
Ooh well, I will carry on tomorrow and the quality of the paint should be back to how it was after several more hours hard graft
To end on a good note, at least with the weather like it is, I'll get a nice suntan in the process
