clutch upgrade

Need a new clutch in the 350i as original is starting to slip on full throttle. Any advise on an upgraded assy would be much appreciated..........................UG

I plan to fit a Griff 500 clutch to my 390SE when it needs it. I will have to do some more research on whther the Griff clutch has the same external dimensions though...

Thats the direction I'd go in, but be careful to make sure that it'll fit.

I would guess that the Griff clutch probably has stronger springs to cope with the extra torque.

I have a Griff 500 clutch in mine .. you just need to remember that the plate is for the LT77 gear box..

I'm getting a new clutch in mine - think it's a 10.5 inch jobbie.. HUGE.

You can replace it with an AP that is available as replacement for the original/standard one (don't no the original size). Strong enough, and will last-depending on your 'clutch behaviour'.

Remark: Had to replace the clutch actuator lever this year as it was bent and broken(pierced actually) at the pivot. So the stronger the springs, I think, the higher the risk that the lever could become under too much strain. Of course due to the problem I had, I became perhaps too cautious.
