LHS front creak over potholes

Went over a hole in road coming back from Meriden on Sun. Bit of a creaking noise when going over potholes now , when will they fix the potholes ? Anyway suppose it may be a cracked spring , must investigate !

Could be the bodyshell flexing against the chassis.

Check your anti-roll bar bushes also.

Check if one of the front springs has broken. I had this and it made those funny noises you are talking about. Not by hitting potholes but going over sleeping policemen and making small turns (=maximum angle of the front wheels).

Bolts holding clamps to roll bar not as tight as they should be , probably because I took them off to put rose joints on a few weeks ago , just need to go on a test run over lousy A roads .
