Well you are probably wondering what the heck is this about..

Well - that is the internal width of my garage and I've just completed a full respray of the SEAC.

There are one or two things remaining to be done but one more day next weekend should see it completed.

Sadly - you will all have to wait for BBWF to see the colour and whether it's as the french say

Glad that's over - now need to get studying and choose a new ECU.

Go for MegaSquirt, then I'll have someone to quiz,as I don't seem to be able to speak to the guy, on a regular basis, I bought mine from. His website was good. www.extraefi.co.uk/ I just never ever seem to catch him at the right time, as he works during the day.

Wedge is going on the rolling road when I get home. Hopefully I'll get it all mapped and running nice, as it wasn't running too well when I took it down the West Coast of Scotland last week.

I find MS too basic for what I want..

DTA (S80 Pro) and Emerald(new version) look to be the best for what I want from them..

Think if I do use coach lines - I'll need different colours.

I've founds paints4U in the UK who do them..

Happy to give you some cash for the gold ones or you can sell them at BBWF or ebay..

Interested to know what you used in the way of paint and how you dried it. I need to repaint some of my Lotus and repair the car park damage to the Wedge and have not sprayed anything for years so much has changed from the good old days of cellulose and the quick high in a small garage.

Did you use water based and lacquer or two pack. Any info on experience useful

I used cellulose.. it's touch dry in around 2 mins .. so not too much airbourne contamination.. you do have to scrub the garage clean before hand, then blow out any dust with an airline, then mist with water from a garden sprayer..

But you would still do all that with a stray booth...

Hi Rev

I would speak with John Eales before choosing an ECU - he has some views as to what is a good return on your investment. He saved me a fortune when I talked my requirements through with him. One of the biggest expenses was all the changes to the wiring harness!
Hopefully will get my engine back from him this week with a significant change in torque and BHP.....

Go on Rev .. Tell us .. Did you use Dulux One Coat or Hammerite ?

Thats not a lot of room to get uniform coverage of paint .. or did you use a 2" paint brush ?

OK - secret is I used dollies (x 4)..

to move the car easily from one side to the other..
