new exhaust needed

need to change it as its rusting away any pointers who to use in the surrey area i have been quoted between £500/£750 supply and fit without manifolds any info most welcome.

I've got one of his centre boxes (mild) and one manifold(stainless) on a the moment. Why pay someone to fit it though? Its fairly straightforward.

Mine was anything but straightforward to fit, but is a superb exhaust. 18/8 Austenitic Stainless (316 grade IIRC).

But I will defend RTRacing here (where I bought it). Its a fecking sturdy exhaust, and thats defo a good thing on a Wedge, as the bottom of the silencer will more than likely kiss the tarmac over big speedbumps at some point(do-gooding, tree hugging b**t*rds). Sounds luuuurvely too, and was 530ish quid including postage.

I bought it from the manifolds back, and will at some point get him to do me some manifolds too.

I found out, whilst trying to order my JP exhaust direct to save ££££ that a) its cheaper through the dealers and b) act and jp are owned by the same guy and they are the same built products!

Ipto facto...

PS-My new ones almost on its way! WOO HOO!!

well i believe so..

i happened to talk to the owner when he answered the phone, and i said 'ive heard more good things about ACT...' to him and he replied well they are the same thing!

I could have been mistaken, unless im thinking of another company? They are the only wedge exhaust guys arent they??

I think JP make alot of exhausts for various suppliers. Mine was made by JP but I bought is from...... someone else

Agree with above. I think the 'they are the same thing ' refers to exhaust manufacturer not owner of the Company.
I bought mine from a.n.other supplier but it is a JB.

new exhaust fitted £500 all in (excluding manifolds £500 per side!) did a nice job all made from t304 stainless steel sounds a lot deeper then it did before.
wait to see what the neighbours think sunday morning at 5.30 when i go out!
