Passenger window stuck down

It's making a clicking noise but it won't budge. Had the door card off connections look ok, any ideas?
Is there any way it can be "wound" up?

Right done a search, sounds like a sticky motor. Can they be "pulled" up?

It's alright, just gave it a whack with the ammer & it went up

Both my wedges have suffered with wear in the gearing causing them to jam when fully open (drivers side). If you manage to wiggle it free (you may have to drill out the 3 rivets that hold the motor to the mechanism and replace with bolts with very flat heads) it will then probably work fine for a bit and then jam again. I ended up putting an extra bolt in the quadrant to act a stop and prevent the window lowering the last quarter of an inch, which fixed both cars for good

Although the top cover I've got from Hamilton's keeps it bone dry fair play

Whenever mine do this I just whack the inside of the door while playing with the switch - it usually gets it going.

Me too, screwdriver and socket onto the top cog, it is a novelty!
