recce run to ettington

i am planning to run down to ettington chase on monday to check out car parking for wedge fest, any one else fancy a run/meet, may be goto stratford.

I might be up for a run out Blaine. I am working Sunday night so will sleep 'till about lunchtime on Monday but after that should be a goer.

Ettington chase might have the layout for you (number of spaces and where they all are etc). You might even get something worthwhile of the BBWF video / DVD from 2005 (as the 2006 version STILL hasn't happened). I have a copy if you want to borrow it.

Yes Yes Yes......... BUT !!! all the info is out of date if ET have built a new bedroom block on the car park or built a new car park !!

how about meeting at the bulls around 12.00(give lee some time to sleep) and then head of down to ettington, and run through stratford.

Chaps - I strongly recommend avoiding Stratford on Monday as it will be stationary around the gyratory - I used to live and still work there and it will not be fun for the discerning wedge driver.

Why not go from the Bulls and head towards the A46 and just north of Stratford at the island head along the Fosseway on the A429 all the way down to Ettington - some good straight runs at a ...ahem ...good speed.

Sorry guys - Change of plan.

I am currently using the wedge as my everyday car since I sold the Beemer. An X5 has come up with the right spec for the right money so I want to go and have a look tomorrow before somone else decides they want it.
