HI
Planning on taking the ARB off the car, since I have to replace the brackets and replacing bushes to super flex.Even put some paint on it to look good...:-)
Anything in particular to be aware of?
The car is on stands and wheels off, suspension unloaded. Anyone tell me the easiest way to do this?
Is it straight forward.......undoing bolts and lift the ARB away?
Is it hard to put back to the car?

Fairly staight forward providing both wheels are loaded or unloaded the same.
From memory it's best to loosen the ARB brackets but leave them supporting the weight and then unbolt drop links from tie bars and take bar out complete.
I found the superflex purple bushes much too soft (softer than original rubber) now run with rubber bushes in ARB brackets (TVR Carparts) and SH drop links.
Hope this helps

Thanks David
Thought it would be possible to do this with the same load on both sides.
Having a complete set of bushes.....blue ones. The big one from the tie rod to the chassis seems a bit complex to fit since it isn´t in two parts as some of the others.Have you replaced that one and if so ...any suggestions of procedure?

Don't understand how the tie bar ones can be 1 piece.
I do have superflex bushes on the tie bar to chassis.
Mine are two part with a single centre stainless tube. Again simple to fit but take measurements re. tie bar position (before removing) as this adjusts the Castor angle.
The 2 inner washers (thin ones) are important as they retrict up & down movement of the tie bar.

"Mine are two part with a single centre stainless tube."
.....(embarrassed)..so are mine! Tried using a bit more force to see if I could take them apart.....and there they were, separated. Since all the other bushes were in parts and these weren´t (and me using my sissy muscles trying to take them apart) I assumed they were supposed to be like that.
Thanks again David.
..and rev-erend....I will have your remark in mind. Not planning on painting the area where the bushes are
but the brush could slip....:-)
G´night all
