I'm Back ..

Well been in America for a week .. working

and then this weekend having lots of fun driving in North Wales.. sadly just me and the other half .. as the other TVR owners cried off due to forcast rain ..

Which did not happen

Superb weather, just a hint of rain Sunday evening and just the best deserted roads that have to be driven hard to be truely appreciated.

Been picking up a few bits for the SEAC rebuild - now have the mega clutch (McCloud) and a few bargain bits from the USA..

Happy days..

Re-fit starts this coming weekend.

Sadly the new engine is not ready yet - so I'm putting the old 4.6 back in and will try and get the new ECU up and running as quickly as possible.

That alone should liberate a few more bhp ..

Hi Rev

Shame about the other Wales crew, I hope you gave my regards to the Horseshoe pass

It'll be good to see the SEAC back on the road, you must be having severe withdrawal symptons by now, I've been without mine for a week and am desperate for a V8 fix. Subject to a lift from Seamus this evening I'm picking it up from Topcats with a new centre zorst piece so can't wait to hear what it sounds like now. Hope it's not gone quiet

Hi Rev

Just picked mine up from JEMS with the " upgraded" John Eales engine - first impressions are its fast, frightenly fast...John told me it came alive from 4000 rpm and he's certainly right!
Will PM you with the final spec etc when I get back at the weekend.

Yes - had a great drive on many superb Welsh roads ..

Would like a beer mid June but will be at Le Mans (14th to 24th)..

I think that Sunday meet at the Goat Hertford heath would be fun ..

Don't remind me about the with drawl... and the £'s I'm spending ..
