glovebox catch

have tried many ways to stop it from falling open and spilling cds everywhere no wedged shut. the catch wont engage tried moving its postion but no joy where will i be able to get a new one or will any tvr one work? (griff catch on ebay) also need the round black plastic surrond on the door pins any pointers?

fitted loft catch on glovebox and now stays shut £2.25 well spent.
any ideas on the door pin surronds would like chrome ones.
