Assuming it has suddenly got more camber than it did previously I would suspect a UJ has given up the ghost. I had a circlip pop out of one of the cups on mine and cause the same problem. Alternatively if it has always been like that, you may find it is just the bodywork - tolerances are not tight!

I had this last year, twice!

First time was a collapsed hub bearing (it was new!), second time was due to the circlip holding the hub bearing in place popping out!

Either way it needs sorting ASAP.

I've not had any trouble with my UJs, but they've only done about 6000 miles.

If you have trailing arm suspension, it could be just down to the lower link bushes being totally shot. I replaced mine with Nylon bushes from RT Racing and it improved the camber a lot, although there is still a noticable camber.

Mike, I have exactly the same problem. Passenger side rear is out at the bottom by a fair bit (at least an inch!)and driver's side rear is okay.

It's been like that for a year and about 5000 miles with no noticeable problems (except a uni joint).

The previous owner said he had had it checked out and it needed re-bushing. When I pranged the car last year I had the body off and the chassis sandblasted etc. The guy who did this said he would rebush all round but then told me it didn't need it. Suspect he ran out of time and just fed me B.S.

Once the car was back on the road it was the same as before...

He could have run out of time and still need rebushing.

Presume you have trailing arm suspension?

Just changed that outer uni joint and the other is okay plus hub is okay so it's not that.

I'm all ears when you get it sorted and if I do first I'll let you know what it was.

Cheers,

sevans

If there are no worn bits or faults then it is possible to adjust this by shimming between the drive shaft and the brake disc. The shimms are used on Jaguars.

Mike,
If all is okay try moore racing who do the Taz racers -they set Wedge suspension up regularly for about £300 - Based near MK.

Had similar problem with a recently aquired car, bearings, bushes UJs, spring lenghts OK.History indicated work had been carried out on the rear end.Removed all rear susp(and a lot of skin!!)due to serious lack of copper grease, found driveshafts differed in length by 3mm (TVR Tolerances?) Swapped shafts side to side, equal camber both sides to within 1/2 degree.Worth a look if you suspect previous work has been carried out.
